OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

NO. 62/SL DATED MAY 1, 1950

 

THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

 

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 33-SL dated March 22, 1946 and No. 71 dated May 22, 1946 establishing and organizing the rules of the National Army of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 50-SL dated June 18, 1949 organizing the Ministry of National Defense;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 120-SL dated January 25, 1948 organizing the Military Zones;

At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense and Chief Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam;

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE- LAW:

Article 1: Mr. Nguyen Chanh is hereby appointed as Political Commissar of Military Zone 5, effective from March 11, 1950, replacing Mr. Tran Luong who has been reassigned to another position.

Article 2: The Minister of National Defense and Chief Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam shall implement this Decree-Law accordingly.
