THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
At the request of the Editor-in-Chief of the Agricultural and Rural Development Magazine and the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amend Article 1 of Decision No. 44/2008/QĐ-BNN dated March 11, 2008 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Agricultural and Rural Development Magazine, as follows:
1. The Agricultural and Rural Development Magazine is a public service unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, serving state management of the Ministry.
2. The Agricultural and Rural Development Magazine (hereinafter referred to as the Magazine) is a media organ for science and technology, with the function of propagating the policies of the Party, laws and regulations of the State, and achievements in science and technology in the field of agriculture and rural development, in accordance with the Law on Press and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
3. The Magazine is authorized to use its seal and open a separate account; it is allocated public service positions annually; and it is provided with operational funds from the State budget according to the provisions of the State.
The main office of the Magazine is located in Hanoi City.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette, replacing Article 1 of Decision No. 44/2008/QĐ-BNN dated March 11, 2008 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Agricultural and Rural Development Magazine.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department, the Heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Agricultural and Rural Development Magazine are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
