Regarding the delineation of oil and gas blocks in the northern part of the Gulf of Tonkin.

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Petroleum Law dated June 9, 2000;

Pursuant to Decree No. 48/2000/NĐ-CP dated September 12, 2000 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Petroleum Law;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation at Circular No. 6289/CV-HĐQT dated November 29, 2004,

 DECISION:

Article 1. Delineate the oil and gas blocks in the northern part of the Gulf of Tonkin (Annex attached).

Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 3. The Ministers of Planning and Investment, Industry, Finance, Justice, Foreign Affairs, National Defense, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
