DECREE

Regarding the establishment of communes and towns under Ayun Pa and Chu Prong districts, Gia Lai province Now, the communes and towns under Ayun Pa and Chu Prong districts, Gia Lai province, are established as follows:

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,

DECREE:

Article 1. Now establish the communes and towns under the districts of AYun Pa and Chư Prông, Province of Gia Lai, as follows:

Ayun Pa district

1. Establishing Ia Sao commune based on 11,260 hectares of natural area and 2,838 population from Ia RTo commune.

Administrative boundary of Ia Sao commune: East borders Ia RTo commune and Krong Pa district; West borders Ia Rbol commune and Dak Lak province; South borders Uar commune (Krong Pa district) and Dak Lak province; North borders Ayun Pa town and Ia Broai commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Ia RTo commune has 3,100 hectares of natural area and 2,396 population.

2. Establishing Ia Broai commune based on 2,320 hectares of natural area and 2,807 population from Ia Tul commune.

Administrative boundary of Ia Broai commune: East borders Ia Tul commune and Ia RSAi commune (Krong Pa district); West borders Ayun Pa town; South borders Ia RTo commune; North borders Ia Tul commune;

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Ia Tul commune has 27,088 hectares of natural area and 2,146 population.

3. Establishing Ia KDam commune based on 13,227 hectares of natural area and 2,043 population from Chu Mo commune.

Administrative boundary of Ia KDam commune: East borders Chu Mo commune; West borders Chu Ran commune and Ia Mron commune; South borders Ia Trok commune and Chu Mo commune; North borders Yang Nam commune (Kong Cho district);

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Chu Mo commune has 16,185 hectares of natural area and 4,633 population.

4. Establishing Kim Tan commune based on 4,454.5 hectares of natural area and 3,428 population from Chu Ran commune.

Administrative boundary of Kim Tan commune: East borders Ia KDam commune; West borders Ia Sol commune; South borders A Mron commune and Ia Yeng commune; North borders Chu Ran commune and Yang Nam commune (Kong Cho district).

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Chu Ran commune has 4,873.5 hectares of natural area and 3,057 population.

5. Establishing Phu Thien town based on adjusting 156 hectares of natural area and 3,077 population from Chu A Thai commune; 1,395 hectares of natural area and 13,306 population from Ia Sol commune.

Phu Thien town has 1,551 hectares of natural area and 16,383 population.

Administrative boundary of Phu Thien town: East borders Ia Sol commune; West borders Chu A Thai commune; South borders Ia Sol commune; North borders Ia Sol commune and Chu A Thai commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

Ia Sol commune has 11,725 hectares of natural area and 5,055 population.

Chu A Thai commune has 13,359 hectares of natural area and 10,815 population.

Chu Prong District

6. Establishing Bau Can commune based on adjusting 1,300 hectares of natural area and 2,900 population from Ia Phin commune; 1,400 hectares of natural area and 900 population from Thang Hung commune.

Bau Can commune has 2,700 hectares of natural area and 3,800 population

Administrative boundary of Bau Can commune: East borders Gao town (Plei Ku city); West borders Binh Giao commune; South borders Thang Hung commune and La Phin commune; North borders Gao town (Plei Ku city).

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

Ia Phin commune has 4,203 hectares of natural area and 3,219 population.

Thang Hung commune has 5,884 hectares of natural area and 4,320 population.

Article 2. Nghị định này có hiệu lực sau 15 ngày kể từ ngày ký. Mọi quy định trước đây trái với Nghị định này đều bãi bỏ.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province, the Minister, the Director of the Government Organization-Civil Service Department, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
