The Prime Minister promulgates this Decision to amend and supplement Point a Clause 1 Article 3 of Decision No. 54/2010/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2010 of the Prime Minister on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the General Statistics Office under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Article 1. Amend and supplement Point a Clause 1 Article 3 of Decision No. 54/2010/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2010 of the Prime Minister on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the General Statistics Office under the Ministry of Planning and Investment as follows:

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Based on the Statistics Law dated June 17, 2003;

Pursuant to Decree No. 116/2008/ND-CP dated November 14, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Planning and Investment;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment;

"a) Administrative organizations assisting the Director-General in performing state management functions:

- Department of Statistical Methodology and Information Technology;

- Department of Comprehensive Statistics;

- Department of National Accounts System;

- Department of Industrial Statistics;

- Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Fishery Statistics;

- Department of Trade and Service Statistics;

- Department of Construction and Investment Capital Statistics; 

- Department of Price Statistics;

- Department of Population and Labor Statistics;

- Department of Social and Environmental Statistics;

- Department of Foreign and International Cooperation Statistics;

- Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department;

- Planning and Finance Department;

- Legal Affairs and Statistics Inspection Department;

- Office (with representation in Ho Chi Minh City)."

This Decision shall take effect from January 10, 2014.

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of central government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the Central Government, Directors-General of the General Statistics Office, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

Article 2. Effective Date

This Decision shall take effect from January 10, 2014.

Article 3. Implementation Provisions

The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, Directors of the General Statistics Office, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
