On the basis of the report on the results of the Fifth National Congress of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Associations held on December 27 and 28, 2004;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the Central Council of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Associations.

Article 1. Approving the amended Charter of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Associations adopted at the Fifth National Congress of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Associations on December 28, 2004 (annexed to this Decision).
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-attached agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under central jurisdiction, Chairman of the Central Council of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Associations are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
