Decree No. 66/2000/NĐ-CP On Adjusting the Administrative Boundaries of Viên Sơn Commune to Establish Phú Thịnh Ward and Expand Quang Trung Ward in Sơn Tây Town, Ha Tay Province

DECREE

Regarding the adjustment of the administrative boundaries of Viên Sơn Commune

to establish Phú Thịnh Ward and expand

 Quang Trung Ward under Son Tay Town, Ha Tay Province

THE GOVERNMENT

Based on the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

||| Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service and Personnel Department of the Government,

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries of Viên Sơn Commune are adjusted to establish Phú Thịnh Ward and expand Quang Trung Ward under Son Tay Town, Ha Tay Province as follows:

1. Establishing Phú Thịnh Ward based on the entire natural area and population of four villages: Phú Nhi, Phú Mai, Hồng Hậu, and Yên Thịnh belonging to Viên Sơn Commune.

Phú Thịnh Ward has 297.95 hectares of natural area and 5,675 inhabitants.

Administrative boundaries of Phú Thịnh Ward: East borders with Lê Lợi Ward; West borders with Đường Lâm Commune; South borders with Ngô Quyền Ward and Trung Hưng Commune; North borders with Vinh Phuc Province.

2. Expanding Quang Trung Ward by incorporating the entire natural area (23.14 hectares) and population (903 inhabitants) of Thuần Nghệ Village from Viên Sơn Commune into Quang Trung Ward.

After expansion, Quang Trung Ward has 71.7 hectares of natural area and 8,487 inhabitants.

Administrative boundaries of Quang Trung Ward: East borders with Viên Sơn Commune; West borders with Trung Hưng Commune; South borders with Sơn Lộc Ward, Tích Giang Commune, and Trung Hưng Commune; North borders with Ngô Quyền Ward and Lê Lợi Ward.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Phú Thịnh Ward and incorporate Thuần Nghệ Village into Quang Trung Ward, Viên Sơn Commune has 286.88 hectares of natural area and 5,671 inhabitants.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service and Personnel Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree. /./
