ON THE SUBSIDY REGIME FOR FOREST RANGERS WORKING IN COMMUNE TERRITORIES

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Based on the Law on Forest Protection and Development dated August 19, 1991;
Pursuant to Decree No. 39/CP dated May 18, 1994 of the Government on the organizational structure, tasks, and authorities of forest rangers;
Pursuant to Directive No. 286/TTg dated May 2, 1997 of the Prime Minister on strengthening measures for forest protection and development;
At the proposal of the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department under the Government, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Minister of Finance.
DECISION:
Article 1. To stipulate the subsidy regime for forest rangers working in commune territories, specifically:
1. A rate of 100,000 VND/person/month shall be applied to communes with regional allowances ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 times the minimum wage.
2. A rate of 120,000 VND/person/month shall be applied to communes with regional allowances ranging from 0.4 to 0.5 times the minimum wage.
3. A rate of 140,000 VND/person/month shall be applied to communes with regional allowances of 0.7 times or more of the minimum wage.
Article 2. The source of funds for the payment of the subsidy regime prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision shall be allocated and utilized within the annual budget assigned to the locality.
Article 3. The Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department under the Government, shall guide the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from June 1, 2002.
Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision.
