DECISION NO. 66/2004/QĐ-TTg OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT DATED APRIL 20, 2004 ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD FOR INDUSTRIAL ZONES IN LAM DONG PROVINCE

REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD FOR INDUSTRIAL ZONES IN LAM DONG PROVINCE

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government promulgating the Regulations on industrial zones, export processing zones, and high-tech parks;

Upon the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province at Document No. 3002/TTr-UB dated September 17, 2003, and the Minister of Home Affairs at Document No. 129/TTr-BNV dated January 19, 2004,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Management Board for Industrial Zones in Lam Dong Province under the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province shall be established to manage industrial zones within the territory of Lam Dong Province.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones in Lam Dong Province shall perform tasks and powers related to managing industrial zones as prescribed in Article 27 of the Regulation on Industrial Zones, Export Processing Zones, and High-Tech Zones issued together with Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones in Lam Dong Province shall have legal personality, a bank account, and a seal bearing the national emblem. The staffing and operating budget of the Management Board shall be included in the state budget allocated to Lam Dong Province.

Article 2. The Management Board for Industrial Zones in Lam Dong Province shall have a director appointed by the Prime Minister; several deputy directors and members appointed by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province.

The Management Board for Industrial Zones in Lam Dong Province shall have an organizational structure as prescribed in Article 28 of the Regulation on Industrial Zones, Export Processing Zones, and High-Tech Zones issued together with Decree No. 36/CP dated April 24, 1997 of the Government.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, and the Director of the Management Board for Industrial Zones in Lam Dong Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
