ISSUING REGULATIONS ON ANIMAL DISEASE-FREE ZONES AND SAFE ESTABLISHMENTS

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 01/2008/ND-CP OF JANUARY 3, 2008, PROVIDING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT;

Pursuant to the Veterinary Law dated April 29, 2004;

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 33/2005/ND-CP OF MARCH 15, 2005, PROVIDING GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE ANIMAL HEALTH ORDINANCE;

At the proposal of the Director of the Animal Health Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE REGULATIONS ON ANIMAL DISEASE-FREE ZONES AND SAFE ESTABLISHMENTS.

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE STATE GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE DECISION NO. 62/2002/QD/BNN OF JULY 11, 2002, ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT, ATTACHING THE REGULATIONS ON ANIMAL DISEASE-FREE ZONES AND SAFE ESTABLISHMENTS.

Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, DIRECTORS OF THE ANIMAL HEALTH SERVICE BUREAU, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT, HEADS OF UNITS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THESE MATTERS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./
