DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
On the conversion of the type of the Hong Bang Private University
PRIME MINISTER
Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decision No. 121/2007/QĐ-TTg dated July 27, 2007 of the Prime Minister approving the planning of the network of universities and colleges for the period 2006-2020;
Pursuant to Decision No. 122/2006/QĐ-TTg dated May 29, 2006 of the Prime Minister on allowing private universities to convert to private institutions;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training at Circular No. 781/TTr-BGDĐT dated December 24, 2008 regarding the pilot conversion of the Hong Bang Private University to a private university and Circular No. 01/2008/TTr-ĐHHB dated December 15, 2008,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Hong Bang Private University shall be converted into the Hong Bang International University, a private institution.
The Hong Bang International University shall operate under the Regulations on the organization and operation of private universities issued together with Decision No. 61/2009/QĐ-TTg dated April 17, 2009 of
Article 2. The Ministry of Education and Training shall be responsible for directing and guiding the Hong Bang Private University in implementing the conversion from a private university to a private institution in accordance with the relevant laws.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 4. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and Rector of the Hong Bang Private University are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
