Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to establish communes and wards under Chu Se district and Pleiku city, Gia Lai province

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes and wards under Chu Se district and Pleiku city, Gia Lai province as follows:
1. Establishing Ia Phang commune under Chu Se district based on 12,710.5 hectares of natural area and 5,214 population from Nhon Hoa commune.
Administrative boundary of Ia Phang commune: East borders Ayun Pa district; West borders Nhon Hoa commune and Ia Le commune; South borders Ia Le commune and Ayun Pa district; North borders Ia Hru commune and HBong commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Ia Phang commune, Nhon Hoa commune has 5,689.5 hectares of natural area and 8,116 population.
2. Establishing Ia Dreng commune under Chu Se district based on 2,351.7 hectares of natural area and 2,486 population from Ia Hru commune.
Administrative boundary of Ia Dreng commune: East borders Ia Hru commune; West borders HLop commune and Ia Ko commune; South borders Nhon Hoa commune; North borders Ia Blang commune and Ia HLop commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Ia Dreng commune, Ia Hru commune has 6,178.3 hectares of natural area and 7,701 population.
3. Establishing Yen The ward under Pleiku city based on 1,187 hectares of natural area and 12,916 population from Bai Bon commune.
Administrative boundary of Yen The ward: East borders Bai Bon commune; West borders Ia Grai district; South borders Thong Nhat ward and Ia Grai district; North borders Ia Grai district and Chu Pah district.
After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Yen The ward, Bai Bon commune has 2,019.2 hectares of natural area and 4,432 population.
4. Establishing Tra Ba ward under Pleiku city based on 758.67 hectares of natural area and 13,990 population from Tra Ba commune.
Administrative boundary of Tra Ba ward: East borders Chu A commune; West borders Hoi Phu ward; South borders Chu HDrong commune; North borders Hoa Lu ward and Tra Da commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Tra Ba ward, Tra Ba commune has 2,360.33 hectares of natural area and 4,610 population.
5. Renaming Tra Ba commune under Pleiku city to Chu HDrong commune.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
