PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Based on the State Enterprise Law dated April 20, 1995;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Industry (in letters No. 4377/CV-TCCB dated November 20, 2000 and No. 875/CV-TCCB dated March 14, 2001); opinions of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, the Government’s Organizational and Cadre Affairs Board, the Central Economic Commission, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Coal Corporation, and the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Mechanical Energy and Mining Corporation,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Vietnam Mechanical Energy and Mining Corporation under the Ministry of Industry shall be merged into the Vietnam Coal Corporation.
Article 2. The Minister of Industry is instructed to direct the implementation of the aforementioned merger in accordance with current regulations.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
The Ministers of Industry, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Head of the Government’s Organizational and Cadre Affairs Board, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Coal Corporation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Mechanical Energy and Mining Corporation, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
