ON DECREE

Regarding the issuance of the "Supplementary List of Fertilizers Permitted for Production, Business, and Use in Vietnam" Male”

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decree No. 113/2003/NĐ-CP dated October 7, 2003 of the Government on the management of fertilizer production, business, and use;

Pursuant to Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management over product quality;

At the proposal of the Director of the Crop Production Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached hereto is the Supplementary List of Fertilizers Permitted for Production, Business, and Use in Vietnam, including 125 types divided into:

1. Single mineral fertilizers 7 types;

2. Compound fertilizers 1 type;

3. Micro-nutrient fertilizers 1 type;

4. Organic fertilizers 9 types;

5. Organic-mineral fertilizers 14 types;

6. Bio-organic fertilizers 13 types;

7. Microbial organic fertilizers 7 types;

8. Microbial fertilizers 1 type;

9. Foliar fertilizers 70 types;

10. Raw materials for fertilizer production 1 type;

11. Soil ameliorants 1 type.

Article 2. Organizations and individuals meeting the conditions specified in Article 5 of Decree No. 113/2003/NĐ-CP dated October 7, 2003 of the Government on the management of fertilizer production, business, and use are permitted to produce, trade, and use the types of fertilizers registered in this list.

Article 3. The types of fertilizers at Decision No. 1164/QĐ-BNN-TT dated April 27, 2007 cease to be legally effective from the date this Decision takes effect.

Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 5. The Director of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Crop Production Department, the Director of the Science and Technology Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of the provinces and centrally administered cities, the Heads of units, organizations, and individuals related to fertilizer production, business, and use in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
