REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THÀNH ĐÔ UNIVERSITY BASED ON THE UPGRADE OF THÀNH ĐÔ COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decision No. 121/2007/QĐ-TTg dated July 27, 2007 of the Prime Minister approving the Master Plan for the Network of Universities and Colleges for the period 2006-2020;
Pursuant to Decision No. 07/2009/QĐ-TTg dated January 15, 2009 of the Prime Minister on conditions and procedures for establishing, suspending operations, merging, splitting, dividing, and dissolving universities;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training at Circular No. 243/TT-BGDĐT dated April 21, 2009 regarding the establishment of ThàNH ĐÔ University based on the upgrade of ThàNH ĐÔ College of Technology,
DECISION:
Article 1. Permission is hereby granted to establish ThàNH ĐÔ University based on the upgrade of ThàNH ĐÔ College of Technology, Hanoi City.
Article 2. ThàNH ĐÔ University is a private higher education institution with legal personality, having its own seal and separate bank account.
Article 3. ThàNH ĐÔ University shall operate in accordance with the Charter for Private Universities issued together with Decision No. 61/2009/QĐ-TTg dated April 17, 2009 of the Prime Minister.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and ThàNH ĐÔ College of Technology are responsible for implementing this Decision.
