DECISION OF THE MINISTER

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Regarding the supplementation of ten plant species to the List of Plant Species Subject to Protection

 

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government on the Provision of Functions, Tasks, Authorities, and Organizational Structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Seed Plant Variety Law;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Agriculture,

 

DECISION:

Article 1. The following ten plant species are hereby supplemented to the List of Plant Species Subject to Protection:

1. Potato                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         &

2. Rose                  7. Turnip

3. Daisy                     8. Grape

4. Watermelon                  9. Tea

5. Cucumber                  10. Cotton

Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 3. The Office for the Protection of New Plant Varieties shall be responsible for organizing and implementing the protection of new plant varieties in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Article 4. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Department of Agriculture, the Director of the Office for the Protection of New Plant Varieties, and the Heads of related units are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
