Circular No. 68/2010/TT-BNNPTNT promulgates the "List of criteria and permissible limits for food safety regarding certain plant-based food products imported and produced for circulation within the country under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development."

CIRCULAR

ISSUING "LIST OF STANDARDS AND ALLOWABLE LIMITS FOR FOOD SAFETY FOR CERTAIN VEGETABLE-DERIVED IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS AND THOSE PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED DOMESTICALLY UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT"

 FOR CERTAIN VEGETABLE-DERIVED IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS AND THOSE PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED DOMESTICALLY

 UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

BASED ON DECREE NO. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP;

BASED ON THE FOOD SAFETY LAW No. 12/2003/PL-UBTVQH adopted by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on July 26, 2003;
BASED ON DECREE No. 163/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 7, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Food Safety Law;
THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT hereby promulgates the LIST OF STANDARDS AND ALLOWABLE LIMITS FOR FOOD SAFETY FOR CERTAIN VEGETABLE-DERIVED IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS AND THOSE PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED DOMESTICALLY.
LIST OF STANDARDS AND ALLOWABLE LIMITS FOR FOOD SAFETY FOR CERTAIN VEGETABLE-DERIVED IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS AND THOSE PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED DOMESTICALLY.

Article 1. 1. National Technical Regulation on Railway Traffic Signals, number QCVN 21:2025/BXD.

This list serves as the basis for designated inspection agencies to determine the required analytical criteria. The determination of analytical criteria is based on this list and the following information:

Article 2. 1. The compliance history with food safety regulations of the manufacturer and importer;

2. The actual situation regarding food safety risks from the place of production and the country of origin;

3. The actual condition of the consignment and accompanying documentation;

4. The analytical criteria must be determined by the head of the designated inspection agency, in accordance with current legal guidelines and regulations.

This list will be reviewed and amended as necessary based on management requirements. During its implementation, if there are any issues, relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals should promptly report them to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for review and resolution.

Article 3. This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of signature.

Article 4. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Department of Quality Management of Agricultural and Forestry Products and Aquatic Products, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.
