Amending, supplementing, and revoking certain contents of Circular No. 60/2011/TT-BNNPTNT dated September 9, 2011

 Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP;

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development amends, supplements, and revokes certain contents of Circular No. 60/2011/TT-BNNPTNT dated September 9, 2011 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the inspection of the quality of imported salt (hereinafter referred to as Circular No. 60/2011/TT-BNNPTNT) as follows:

Article 1. Amending, supplementing, replacing, and revoking certain contents of Circular No. 60/2011/TT-BNNPTNT as follows:

1. Repealing the content regarding declaration of conformity prescribed in Clause 2, Article 3; Clause 1, Article 7; Point c, Clause 3, Article 7; Appendix II, Appendix III.

2. Amending and replacing the phrase "before import, the importer must declare the applicable standard consistent with technical standards" with the phrase "must comply with National Standard TCVN 3974-2007 on food salt, National Technical Regulation QCVN 8-2:2011/BYT for heavy metal contamination limits in food" in Clause 2, Article 5.

3. Amending and replacing the phrase "declared applicable standard" with the phrase "National Standard TCVN 3974-2007 on food salt, National Technical Regulation QCVN 8-2:2011/BYT for heavy metal contamination limits in food" in Clause 2, Article 8; Point a, Point b, Clause 2, Article 9; Clause 1, Clause 3, Article 10.

Article 2. Effectiveness

1. This Circular takes effect from October 24, 2011.

2. The Director of the Processing, Marketing Department of Forestry, Aquaculture and Salt Industry, the Head of the Ministry's Office, Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
