CIRCULAR
Amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 73/2021/TT-BCA
dated 29/6/2021 issued by the Minister of Public Security regarding the format of passports,
travel documents, and related forms
Pursuant to Resolution No. 76/2022/QH15 dated November 15, 2022 of the National Assembly on the fourth session of the fifteenth National Assembly;
Pursuant to the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens dated November 22, 2019;
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2018/NĐ-CP dated August 6, 2018 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Public Security;
At the proposal of the Department Director Immigration Management Department;
The Minister of Public Security issues this Circular amending and supplementing some provisions of Circular No. 73/2021/TT-BCA dated June 29, 2021 on the format of passports, travel documents, and related forms.
Article 1. Amending and supplementing information on pages 2 and 3 of the diplomatic passport (model HCNG); the official passport (model HCCV); the ordinary passport (model HCPT) issued together with Circular No. 73/2021/TT-BCA dated June 29, 2021 on the format of passports, travel documents, and related forms.
Article 2. Amending the Application Form for Issuance of Ordinary Passports within the Country (model TK01); Application Form for Issuance of Ordinary Passports outside the Country (model TK02); Application Form for Verification of Identity for Vietnamese Citizens Abroad Whose Passports Have Been Lost (model TK03); Application Form for Restoration of Validity of Ordinary Passports (model TK04); Report Form for Lost Ordinary Passports (model TK05); Notification Form Regarding Receipt of Reports of Lost Ordinary Passports (model VB01); Request Form from Vietnamese Representative Offices Abroad for Verification of Identity to Issue Ordinary Passports to Vietnamese Citizens (model VB02) issued together with Circular No. 73/2021/TT-BCA dated June 29, 2021 on the format of passports, travel documents, and related forms.
Article 3. Implementation clause and transitional provisions
1. This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2023.
2. Passports issued before January 1, 2023 according to previously issued formats remain valid until their expiration date as indicated in the passports./.
