DECREE
Regarding the establishment of wards and communes under Kon Tum City and Dak Ha District, Kon Tum Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,DECREE:
Article 1. Now establish wards and communes under Kon Tum City and Dak Ha District, Kon Tum Province as follows:
Kon Tum City:
1. Establish Le Loi Ward based on adjusting 215 hectares of natural area and 2,390 population from Chu H Reng Commune; 155 hectares of natural area and 898 population from Dong Ket Commune; 25 hectares of natural area and 168 population from Hoa Binh Commune.
Le Loi Ward has 395 hectares of natural area and 3,456 population.
Administrative boundaries of Le Loi Ward: East borders Chu Hreng Commune; West borders Dong Ket Commune; South borders Hoa Binh Commune; North borders Quyet Thang Ward and Thong Nhat Ward.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Chu H Reng Commune has 2,758 hectares of natural area and 1,381 population.
Dong Ket Commune has 2,715 hectares of natural area and 5,290 population.
Hoa Binh Commune has 6,655 hectares of natural area and 8,916 population.
2. Adjust 274 hectares of natural area and 4,056 population from Vinh Quang Commune to Quang Trung Ward and establish Duy Tan Ward based on 545.5 hectares of natural area and 3,436 population from Quang Trung Ward.
Administrative boundaries of Duy Tan Ward: East borders Le Loi Ward; West borders Vinh Quang Commune; South borders Quang Trung Ward; North borders Dak Cam Commune.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Quang Trung Ward has 414 hectares of natural area and 8,421 population.
Vinh Quang Commune has 2,726 hectares of natural area and 7,402 population.
Dak Ha District:
3. Establish Dak Mar Commune based on adjusting 4,123.5 hectares of natural area and 2,567 population from Dak H Ring Commune; 535 hectares of natural area and 1,232 population from Ha Mon Commune.
Dak Mar Commune has 4,658.5 hectares of natural area and 3,799 population.
Administrative boundaries of Dak Mar Commune: East borders Dak Ui Commune; West borders Sa Thay District; South borders Ha Mon Commune and Dak Ha Town; North borders Dak H Ring Commune.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Dak H Ring Commune has 9,796.5 hectares of natural area and 3,558 population.
Ha Mon Commune has 3,565 hectares of natural area and 4,668 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
