Decree No. 69/1999/ND-CP On the establishment of towns under the districts of Tra Linh, Thong Nong, Thach An, and Quang Hoa, Cao Bang province

DECREE

Regarding the establishment of towns under the districts of Tra Linh, Thong Nong, Thach An, and Quang Hoa, Cao Bang province &

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF CAOBANG PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,

DECREE:

Article 1.Now establish the district town centers for the districts of Tra Linh, Thong Nong, Thach An, and the border gate town of Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province as follows:

1. Establish the town of Hung Quoc - the district town center of Tra Linh district based on the entire area and population of Hung Quoc commune.

The town of Hung Quoc has 1,540 hectares of natural land area and 4,265 inhabitants.

The administrative boundary of the town of Hung Quoc: East borders Xuan Noi commune; West borders Quang Han commune; South borders Cao Chuong commune; North borders the People's Republic of China.

2. Establish the town of Thong Nong - the district town center of Thong Nong district based on 935 hectares of natural land area and 2,113 inhabitants of Da Thong commune.

The administrative boundary of the town of Thong Nong: East borders Da Thong commune; West borders Ngoc Dong commune; South borders Luong Can commune; North borders Da Thong commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Da Thong commune has 3,440.75 hectares of natural land area and 3,735 inhabitants.

3. Establish the town of Dong Ke - the district town center of Thach An district based on the entire area and population of Thang Pa commune, 318.32 hectares of natural land area and 1,112 inhabitants of Le Lai commune.

The town of Dong Ke has 1,497.32 hectares of natural land area and 3,701 inhabitants.

The administrative boundary of the town of Dong Ke: East borders Le Loi and Danh Sy communes; West borders Le Lai commune; South borders Duc Xuan commune; North borders Le Lai commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Le Lai commune has 3,301.68 hectares of natural land area and 2,725 inhabitants.

4. Establish the town of Ta Lung under Quang Hoa district based on 636.2 hectares of natural land area and 2,249 inhabitants of Ta Lung commune.

The administrative boundary of the town of Ta Lung: East borders the People's Republic of China; West borders My Hung commune; South borders the People's Republic of China; North borders Hoa Thuan commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Ta Lung commune has 2,336.8 hectares of natural land area and 3,590 inhabitants.

Rename Ta Lung commune to Hoa Thuan commune.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province, the Minister, the Director of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
