Due to a printing oversight, at Section 1.4 Part II (page 3) of the Joint Circular of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of National Defense number 19/2000/TTLT/BTC-BQP dated March 14, 2000 "Guidelines for organizing the collection, payment, management, and use of fines for administrative violations in the territorial waters, contiguous zones, exclusive economic zones, and continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," the word "out" was incorrectly printed.
After reaching consensus with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Finance requests to correct the following accurate wording of Point 1.4: "The person subject to punishment shall be responsible for paying the full fine according to the decision on punishment within a maximum period of five days from the date of receiving the decision on punishment. When paying the fine, the person subject to punishment will be issued two copies of the receipt for the fine payment," and apologizes for the aforementioned error.
