Regarding the issuance of special registration for certain types of plant protection chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Article 26 of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance promulgated on February 15, 1993;
Pursuant to the Regulation on the management of plant protection chemicals issued together with Decree
No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. Special registration is hereby granted for three insecticides and two fungicides into the list of plant protection chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list).
Article 2. The export and import of plant protection chemicals issued in this decision shall be carried out in accordance with Circular 62/2001/TT-BNN dated June 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the export and import of goods under the specialized management of agriculture pursuant to Decision 46/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister on the management of export and import of goods during the period 2001-2005.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after the date of signature.
The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for providing detailed guidance on safe and effective use of the aforementioned plant protection chemicals.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry and organizations, individuals within the country and foreigners managing, producing, trading, and using plant protection chemicals in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this decision./.
