CIRCULAR
Issuing National Technical Regulations "Provisions on Preventing Pollution from Inland Waterway Vessels"

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
The Minister of Transport hereby promulgates:
Article 1. The accompanying National Technical Regulation "Provisions on Preventing Pollution from Inland Waterway Vessels" is hereby issued;
Registration Code: QCVN 17:2011/BGTVT.
Article 2. This Circular replaces Decision No. 50/2006/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 28, 2006 and shall take effect six months from the date of issuance.
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
