DECREE No. 70/SL ON THE APPOINTMENT OF ZONE HEADS, VICE-HEADS, AND POLITICAL COMMISSIONERS FOR THE ZONES

DECREE-LAW

OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE VIETNAMESE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT

NUMBER 70 DATED AUGUST 23, 1947

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 34 dated March 25, 1946 on National Defense;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 230 dated November 30, 1946 granting authority to the Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam National Army;

Considering the necessity during the resistance period;

At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense and Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam National Army;

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1

Mr. Vu Nghia Vu, currently Deputy Chief of Zone 2, is now appointed as Chief of Zone 11.

Article 2

Mr. Le Trong Tan, Battalion Commander of the 39th Battalion, is now appointed as Chief of Zone 13.

Article 3

Mr. Duc Kien, Political Commissar of Zone 12, is now transferred to serve as a Political Commissioner in Zone 11.

Article 4

Mr. Pham Phuc Thong, Political Commissar of the 36th Battalion (formerly 110), under Zone 12, is now appointed as a Political Commissioner in Zone 12.

Article 5

Mr. Nguyen The Lan, Battalion Commander of the 51st Battalion, is now appointed as Deputy Chief of Zone 6.

Article 6

The Minister of National Defense and Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam National Army shall implement this Decree-Law.
