DECISION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
Regarding the amendment and supplementation of the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the State Bank Trading Department
GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10, December 12, 1997;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP, March 2, 1993 of the Government stipulating the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 88/1998/NĐ-CP, November 2, 1998 of the Government stipulating the functions, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
At the proposal of the Director of the Personnel and Training Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amending, supplementing, and replacing Article 5 of the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the State Bank Trading Department issued together with Decision No. 38/1999/QĐ-NHNN9, January 21, 1999 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:
Article 5. (new): The State Bank Trading Department includes the following units:
1. Foreign Exchange and Interbank Market Business Department.
2. International Payment Department.
3. Cash Management and Disbursement Department.
4. Credit and Open Market Operations Department.
5. General Department.
6. Risk Prevention and Internal Control Department.
7. External Research and Agency Relations Department.
8. Accounting Department.
9. Interbank Settlement Department. The functions and tasks of these departments shall be defined by the Director of the State Bank Trading Department.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Personnel and Training Department, the Director of the State Bank Trading Department, and the Heads of relevant units under the State Bank of Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
