DECREE
Regarding the establishment of the district town of Xuyen Moc District and Loc An Commune under Long Dat District, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1.- Now establish the district town and rename Phuoc Buu Commune to Phuoc Thuan Commune under Xuyen Moc District, and Loc An Commune under Long Dat District as follows:
1. Establish Phuoc Buu Town, the district town of Xuyen Moc District with 800 hectares of natural area and 7,649 population from Phuoc Buu Commune within the district.
- Phuoc Buu Town has 800 hectares of natural area with 7,649 population.
- The boundaries of Phuoc Buu Town: East borders Xuyen Moc Commune; West borders Phuoc Thuan Commune and Phuoc Tan Commune; South borders Phuoc Thuan Commune and the national forest reserve; North borders Phuoc Tan Commune and Xuyen Moc Commune.
2. Rename Phuoc Buu Commune (after adjusting the boundaries) to Phuoc Thuan Commune.
Phuoc Thuan Commune retains 5,202 hectares of natural area and 8,041 population.
- The boundaries of Phuoc Thuan Commune: East borders Bong Trang Commune; West borders Lang Dai Commune and Long Dat District; South borders the East Sea; North borders Phuoc Buu Town and Phuoc Tan Commune.
