Regarding the establishment of wards under Buon Ma Thuot city, communes under Krông Pắk district, M'Drắck, Krông Nô districts and renaming the town Krông Pắk, Dak Lak province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Department of the Government,

 DECREE:

Article 1.- Now establish wards under Buon Ma Thuot city, communes under Krông Pắk, M'Drắck, Krông Nô districts and rename the town Krông Pắk, Dak Lak province, as follows:

Buon Ma Thuot city:

1- Establish Tan Hoa ward based on 511 hectares of natural area and 9,363 population of Tan Lap ward.

The boundary of Tan Hoa ward: East borders Ea Tu commune and Hoa Thang commune; West borders Tan Lap ward; South borders Hoa Thang commune; North borders Ea Tu commune.

2- Establish Tan An ward based on 1,104 hectares of natural area and 8,731 population of Tan Lap ward.

The boundary of Tan An ward: East borders Ea Tu commune and Tan Lap ward; West borders Tan Loi ward; South borders Tan Lap ward and Tan Loi ward; North borders Ea Tu commune and Cu M'gar district.

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Tan Lap ward remains with 1,020 hectares of natural area and 13,882 population.

3- Establish Tan Loi ward based on 1,407 hectares of natural area and 8,501 population of Thang Loi ward.

The boundary of Tan Loi ward: East borders Tan An ward; West borders Cu Ebur commune; South borders Tuy An, Thang Loi, Tan Lap wards; North borders Cu M'gar district.

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Thang Loi ward remains with 92 hectares of natural area and 8,933 population.

4- Establish Thanh Nhat ward based on 1,046 hectares of natural area and 7,630 population of Thong Nhat ward.

The boundary of Thanh Nhat ward: East borders Tan Tien, Thong Nhat, Thanh Cong wards; West borders Ea Nuol commune (Buon Don district); South borders Tan Tien and Khanh Xuan wards; North borders Cu Ebur commune.

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Thong Nhat ward remains with 62 hectares of natural area and 8,200 population.

Krông Pắk district:

1- Establish Ea Kly commune based on 5,385 hectares of natural area and 14,000 population of Krông Búk commune.

The administrative boundary of Ea Kly commune: East borders Ea Kar district; West borders Ea Kuang commune; South borders Vu Bon commune; North borders Krông Búk commune.

2- Establish Vu Bon commune based on 10,943.7 hectares of natural area and 7,000 population of Krông Búk commune.

The administrative boundary of Vu Bon commune: East borders Ea Kar district, West borders Ea Uy and Ea Yieng communes; South borders Ea Yieng commune and Krông Bông district; North borders Ea Kly commune.

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Krông Búk commune remains with 5,600 hectares of natural area and 8,000 population.

3- Rename Krông Pắk town to Phuoc An town.

M'Drắck district:

1- Establish Ea Lai commune based on 6,866 hectares of natural area and 1,566 population of Krông Jing commune.

The boundary of Ea Lai commune: East borders Ea H'Mlay commune; West borders Ea Pil commune; South borders Ea Kly commune; North borders Krông búk district.

2- Establish Cu Prao commune based on 12,400 hectares of natural area and 1,971 population of Krông Jing commune.

The administrative boundary of Cu Prao commune: East borders Ea Bar commune (Song Hinh district, Phu Yen province); West borders Ea So commune (Ea Kar district); South borders Ea Lai commune; North borders Ea So commune (Ea Kar district) and Ea Bar commune (Song Hinh district, Phu Yen province).

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Krông Jing commune remains with 7,700 hectares of natural area and 4,799 population.

Krông Nô district

- Establish Buon Choah commune based on 5,250 hectares of natural area and 2,450 population of Nam Da commune.

The boundary of Buon Choah commune: East borders Buon Trap town (Krông Ana district); West borders Nam Da commune; South borders Dak Ro commune; North borders Ea Na commune (Krông Ana district).

After adjusting administrative boundaries, Nam Da commune remains with 6,212 hectares of natural area and 6,550 population.

Article 2.- This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3.- The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization and Cadre Department of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
