Regarding the establishment of the Private University Van Lang

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (No. 7128/TCCB dated October 13, 1994);

DECISION:

Article 1. - The establishment of the Private University Van Lang (Ho Chi Minh City) is hereby permitted.

Article 2. - The Private University Van Lang is a higher education institution subject to state management by the Ministry of Education and Training. The University has legal personality, its own seal, and separate bank accounts.

The system of diplomas of the Private University Van Lang is part of the national diploma system.

Article 3. - The Private University Van Lang shall organize and operate in accordance with the law, the private university charter issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, and the University's Statutes approved by the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 4. - The Minister of Education and Training, the Ministers and Heads of ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of government agencies, and the Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
