DECREE
Approving the number and list of electoral units
and the number of representatives to be elected in each representative electoral unit
for the Provincial People's Council of Thua Thien-Hue Province for the 2004-2009 term

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;
At the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien-Hue Province and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECREE:
Article 1. Approving the number of 14 (fourteen) electoral units, 52 (fifty-two) members of the Provincial People's Council of Thua Thien Hue Province for the 2004-2009 term, and the number of representatives elected in each electoral unit for the Provincial People's Council of Thua Thien Hue Province for the 2004-2009 term (attached list).
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Chairperson of the Provincial People's Council, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister and Head of the Government Office shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
