Regarding the establishment of Phủ Lý city under Hà Nam province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hà Nam province,
DECREE:
Clause 4 of Article 6Establish Phủ Lý city under Hà Nam province based on the entire natural area, population, and administrative units directly subordinate to Phủ Lý town.
Phủ Lý city has a natural area of 3,426.77 hectares and a population of 121,350, with 12 administrative units, including the wards: Minh Khai, Hai Bà Trưng, Lương Khánh Thiện, Trần Hưng Đạo, Quang Trung, Lê Hồng Phong, and the communes: Thanh Châu, Liêm Chính, Lam Hạ, Phù Vân, Liêm Chung, Châu Sơn.
The administrative boundaries of Phủ Lý city: East and South bordering Thanh Liêm district; West bordering Thanh Liêm district and Kim Bảng district; North bordering Kim Bảng district and Duy Tiên district, Hà Nam province.
12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hà Nam province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
