Decree No. 72/SL On the establishment of the Transport Department under the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation

DECREE

OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

NUMBER 72/SL OF DECEMBER 25, 1951

THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree No. 50-SL dated April 13, 1946 organizing the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation;

Pursuant to Decree No. 104-SL dated January 1, 1948 amended by Decree No. 9-SL dated February 25, 1949 regulating the regime of state enterprises;

Pursuant to Decree No. 7-SL dated January 20, 1950 organizing the Office of Ministries and agencies directly under Ministries;

At the proposal of the Minister of Public Works and Transportation;

In accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers;

ISSUES THE DECREE:

Article 1

The Transport Department under the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation is hereby established.

Article 2

The Transport Department is a state enterprise with the mission to organize national transportation, guide the transportation organizations of the people, in accordance with the government's economic and financial policy and plan.

Article 3

The Minister of Public Works and Transportation shall issue a decree to organize the Transport Department.

Article 4

The Minister of Public Works and Transportation shall implement this decree.
