NATIONAL ASSEMBLY STANDING COMMITTEE
Pursuant to Article 7 of the National Assembly Organization Law 2001;
Pursuant to Article 44 of the People's Court Organization Law 2002; Article 48 of the People's Procuracy Organization Law 2002;
At the proposal of the Government,
RESOLUTION:
Article 1. Approves the position salary table and the position allowance table for state leaders; the specialized and vocational salary table for the judiciary and prosecution sectors (annexed hereto).
Article 2. The Government shall guide the transition from old salaries to new ones; stipulate allowance systems, salary increment systems, and other related monetary benefits for the subjects specified in this Resolution.
Article 3. This Resolution takes effect from October 1, 2004.
Article 4. This Resolution replaces the provisions in the following Resolutions:
Resolution No. 35 NQ/UBTVQHK9 dated May 17, 1993 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly approving the position salary table, the specialized and vocational salary table for the judiciary and prosecution sectors; Resolution No. 52 NQ/UBTVQHK9 dated December 7, 1993 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly stipulating the new salary system for the Chairpersons of Provincial People's Councils, District People's Councils, and equivalent levels; Article 2 and Article 3 of Resolution No. 138 NQ/UBTVQH11 dated November 21, 2002 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly temporarily stipulating about salaries and certain benefits for full-time National Assembly Deputies; Article 5 of Resolution No. 416 NQ/UBTVQH11 dated September 25, 2003 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly stipulating the functions, tasks, organizational structure, and staffing of the National Assembly Delegation Office.
Article 5. The Government shall guide the implementation of this Resolution./.

II at the Central Level.
Unit of measurement: 1,000 VND
Note:
1/ Departments and Institutes under the Supreme People's Procuracy shall be decided by the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy in accordance with current laws. Other Departments, Institutes, and equivalent organizations under the Supreme People's Procuracy shall enjoy position allowances equal to those of Departments under Ministries as stipulated by the Government.
2/ Leadership positions outside the scope of the position allowance table herein, belonging to National Assembly agencies, the Office of the President, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy shall enjoy position allowances equal to those of corresponding leadership positions in Ministries as stipulated by the Government.
II/ Provinces and centrally governed cities (provincial level).
Note:
1/ The Chairperson of the People's Council of Hanoi City and Ho Chi Minh City shall have their position salaries set at the same level as that of a Minister: Grade 1 with a salary coefficient of 9.7; Grade 2 with a salary coefficient of 10.3.
2/ Specialized Departments under provincial-level People's Procuracies shall be decided by the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy in accordance with current laws. Other Departments and equivalent organizations under provincial-level People's Procuracies shall enjoy position allowances equal to those of Departments under provincial-level Departments as stipulated by the Government.
3/ Leadership positions outside the scope of the position allowance table herein, belonging to provincial-level People's Councils, People's Courts, and People's Procuracies shall enjoy position allowances equal to those of corresponding leadership positions in provincial-level Departments as stipulated by the Government.
III Cities within provinces, districts, counties, towns (district level).
