Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 122/2005/ND-CP dated October 4, 2005 of the Government stipulating the organization of motivation and award work;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Home Affairs.

Article 1. The Department of Motivation and Awards under the Ministry of Finance shall be established. The Minister of Finance shall specify in detail the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Department of Motivation and Awards.
