Regarding the temporary suspension of the production of imported fertilizers
at all ratios in localities throughout the country
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995, stipulating the division of responsibilities for state management over product quality.
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department - Quality Control and Supervision.
DECISION:
Article 1. Temporarily suspend the production of imported fertilizers at all ratios in localities throughout the country from July 31, 2000.
Article 2:Business entities dealing with imported fertilizers are only permitted to sell the remaining stock of imported fertilizers until September 30, 2000.
The Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development shall cooperate with the Departments of Science and Technology, Inspection Centers, and Market Management Agencies in localities to supervise and inspect the quality of imported fertilizers still allowed to circulate on the market during this period.
Article 3:The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Science and Technology Department and Quality Control and Supervision, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this decision./.
