DECREE

Approve the number and list of electoral units and the number of representatives

elected from each electoral unit for the People's Council

 Quảng Trị Province term 2004 – 2009

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;

At the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quảng Trị Province and the Minister of Home Affairs,

DECREE:

Article 1. Approve the number of 15 (fifteen) electoral units, 50 (fifty) representatives of the People's Council of Quảng Trị Province, and the number of representatives elected from each electoral unit for the People's Council of Quảng Trị Province term 2004 - 2009 (attached list).

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Council, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quảng Trị Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister, Head of the Government Office are responsible for implementing this Decree.
