Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department, Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now establish Thuận An town under Phú Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province based on the entire area and population of Thuận An commune and Phú Tân commune.
Thuận An town has 1,650 hectares of natural area and 17,516 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Thuận An town: East borders the East Sea; West borders Phú Thanh commune and Phú Dương commune; South borders Phú Thuận commune and Phú An commune; North borders Hương Trà district.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Organization Department, Government, and heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
