Issuing National Technical Regulations on Food Safety and Hygiene Conditions in Agricultural Product Production

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Pursuant to Decree 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Article 1. Attached to this Circular are 4 National Technical Regulations on Food Safety and Hygiene Conditions in Agricultural Product Production:

1. National Technical Regulation: Coffee processing facility - food safety and hygiene assurance conditions

2. National Technical Regulation: Tea processing facility - food safety and hygiene assurance conditions

3. National Technical Regulation: Cashew processing facility - food safety and hygiene assurance conditions

4. National Technical Regulation: Vegetable and fruit processing facility - food safety and hygiene assurance conditions

Article 2. This Circular takes effect six months from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Quality Control Department for Forestry and Aquatic Products, the Processing and Marketing Department for Forestry, Aquatic Products and Salt Industries, and the heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing these regulations.

During the implementation process, if there are difficulties, agencies, organizations, and individuals shall promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for study, amendment, and supplementation./.
