SUPPLEMENTING ONE ARTICLE TO RESOLUTION NO. 81/2014/QH13 OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAW ON THE ORGANIZATION OF THE PEOPLE'S COURTS

Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the People's Courts No. 62/2014/QH13;
Pursuant to the Law on the Issuance of Normative Legal Documents No. 80/2015/QH13;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1. Supplementing Article 1a following Article 1 of Resolution No. 81/2014/QH13 dated November 24, 2014 of the National Assembly on the Implementation of the Law on the Organization of the People's Courts
"Article 1a. The application of Point a, Clause 1, Article 69 of the Law on the Organization of the People's Courts No. 62/2014/QH13:
From June 10, 2019 to February 1, 2022, the President of the Supreme People's Court shall be permitted to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval the proposal to appoint Justices of the Supreme People's Court, including from among Senior Justices who meet the legal criteria and conditions but have not yet served five years as Senior Justices.
Article 2. Effectiveness
This Resolution takes effect from the date of its adoption.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 14th term, the seventh session, on June 10, 2019.
