DECREE

Regarding the establishment of communes under Dak To district and
the establishment of Tu Mo Rong district, Kon Tum province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Kon Tum province.

DECREE:

Clause 4 of Article 6Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes under Dak To district and adjust the administrative boundaries of Dak To district to establish Tu Mo Rong district, Kon Tum province, as follows:

1. Establishing Dak Ro Nga commune under Dak To district based on 11,320 hectares of natural area and 2,208 population of Ngok Tuy commune.

Dak Ro Nga commune has 11,320 hectares of natural area and 2,208 population.

Administrative boundary of Dak Ro Nga commune: East borders Dak Tram and Ngok Tuy communes; West borders Ngoc Ho district; South borders Ngok Tuy and Ngoc Ho districts; North borders Dak Sao and Dak To Kan communes and Ngoc Ho district.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dak Ro Nga commune, Ngok Tuy commune remains with 4,730 hectares of natural area and 2,215 population.

2. Establishing Dak Tram commune under Dak To district based on 5,277 hectares of natural area and 3,036 population of Van Lem commune.

Dak Tram commune has 5,277 hectares of natural area and 3,036 population.

Administrative boundary of Dak Tram commune: East borders Dak Ha and Van Lem communes; West borders Dak Ro Nga and Ngok Tuy communes; South borders Ngok Tuy, Kon Dao, and Van Lem communes; North borders Dak To Kan commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dak Tram commune, Van Lem commune remains with 4,463 hectares of natural area and 1,731 population.

3. Establishing Dak Ro Ong commune under Dak To district based on 6,807 hectares of natural area and 2,619 population of Dak To Kan commune.

Dak Ro Ong commune has 6,807 hectares of natural area and 2,619 population.

Administrative boundary of Dak Ro Ong commune: East borders Tu Mo Rong and Dak To Kan communes; West borders Dak Sao commune; South borders Dak To Kan commune; North borders Dak Sao and Te Xang communes.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Dak Ro Ong commune, Dak To Kan commune remains with 6,443 hectares of natural area and 2,215 population.

4. Establishing Tu Mo Rong district based on 86,170 hectares of natural area and 21,486 population of Dak To district.

Tu Mo Rong district has 86,170 hectares of natural area and 21,486 population, with 11 subordinate administrative units being Dak Ha, Tu Mo Rong, Mang Ri, Ngok Lay, Te Xang, Van Xuoai, Ngok Yeu, Dak To Kan, Dak Ro Ong, Dak Na, and Dak Sao communes.

Administrative boundary of Tu Mo Rong district: East borders Kon Plong district; West borders Ngoc Ho district; South borders Dak To and Dak Ha districts; North borders Dak Glei district and Quang Nam province.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tu Mo Rong district:

Dak To district remains with 51,570 hectares of natural area and 29,015 population, with 9 subordinate administrative units being Dien Binh, Tan Canh, Kon Dao, Ngok Tuy, Dak Ro Nga, Van Lem, Dak Tram, Po Ko, and Dak To town.

12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The People's Committee of Kon Tum province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
