DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT

Issuing Industry Standards

THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION

Pursuant to the Law on Enactment of Legal Normative Documents dated November 12, 1996;

Based on the Railway Law dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Railway Administration and the Head of the Science and Technology Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. This Decision hereby promulgates the Industry Standard "Technical Regulations for Railway Operation."

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 1587/1999/QĐ-BGTVT dated July 2, 1999 issued by the Minister of Transport on Technical Regulations for Railway Operation in Vietnam.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Department Heads, Director of the Vietnam Railway Administration, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Vietnam Railway Corporation, and Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
