THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Plant Protection and Quarantine Law promulgated on August 8, 2001;

Pursuant to the Regulation on Management of Plant Protection Products issued together with Decision No. 89/2006/QĐ-BNN dated October 2, 2006 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

At the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department.

DECISION:

Article 1

a. Official registration: 11 active ingredients with 11 trade names (including 2 insecticides with 2 trade names, 4 fungicides with 4 trade names, 2 herbicides with 2 trade names, and 3 growth regulators with 3 trade names) into the list of plant protection products permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list).

b. Supplementary registration: 239 cases (including 112 insecticides, 83 fungicides, 29 herbicides, 8 molluscicides, 6 growth regulators, and 1 termite control product) into the list of plant protection products permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list).

Article 2. The export and import of plant protection products issued together with this decision shall be carried out in accordance with the Regulations on Export and Import of Goods issued together with Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4. The Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Head of the Ministry's Office, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
