ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE OPERATING PROCEDURES OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 178/2007/ND-CP dated December 3, 2007, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 179/2007/ND-CP dated December 3, 2007, promulgating the operating procedures of the Government;
BASED ON THE PRIME MINISTER’S DECISION NO. 337/2005/QD-TTg dated December 19, 2005, promulgating the model operating procedures for ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 15/2008/ND-CP dated February 4, 2008, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Ministry's Office,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE OPERATING PROCEDURES OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE DECISION NO. 1959/QD-VP DATED DECEMBER 21, 1998 OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS ON THE ISSUANCE OF THE OPERATING PROCEDURES OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE BUREAU OF ORGANIZATION AND HUMAN RESOURCES, THE HEADS OF DOMESTIC UNITS, THE HEADS OF OVERSEAS REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES, AND ALL STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MINISTRY SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
