DECREE
No. 76 dated May 29, 1946 Amending Article 2 of Decree No. 77 dated December 21, 1945 on the organization of people's administration in cities and towns
PRESIDENT OF THE VIETNAM DEMOCRATIC REPUBLICIC GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 63 dated November 22, 1945 on the organization of people's administration in localities,
Pursuant to Decree No. 77 dated December 21, 1945 on the organization of people's administration in cities and towns,
Pursuant to the proposal of the Minister of Interior,
After the Council of Ministers has agreed,
ISSUES THE DECREE:
Article 1. Article 2 of the above-mentioned Decree No. 77 dated December 21, 1945 shall be amended as follows:
"The organization of people's administration in cities shall be similar to that in communes as stipulated in Decree No. 63 dated November 22, 1945. However, the city administrative committee shall only consist of three regular members (Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Secretary) and two alternate members.
Cities shall directly belong to provinces."
Article 2. The Minister of Interior shall implement this Decree.
