REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES TO EXPAND
THE CITY OF CAO BANG, CAO BANG PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF CAO BANG PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR.
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW, THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES ARE ADJUSTED TO EXPAND THE CITY OF CAO BANG, CAO BANG PROVINCE AS FOLLOWS:
MERGE THE ENTIRE VILLAGE OF DE THAM BELONGING TO HOA AN DISTRICT WITH ITS NATURAL AREA OF 1,119 HA AND POPULATION OF 6,287 INTO THE CITY OF CAO BANG.
AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES, THE CITY OF CAO BANG WILL HAVE A NATURAL AREA OF 5,523 HA AND A POPULATION OF 47,272, INCLUDING 8 SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS WHICH ARE THE WARD OF HOP GIANG, SONG BANG, SONG HIEN, TAN GIANG AND THE VILLAGES OF HOA CHUNG, DUYET TRUNG, NGOC XUAN, DE THAM.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF CAO BANG ARE BOUNDED BY HOA AN DISTRICT IN THE EAST, WEST, SOUTH, AND NORTH.
AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES, HOA AN DISTRICT WILL REMAIN WITH A NATURAL AREA OF 65,648 HA AND A POPULATION OF 63,350, INCLUDING 24 SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS WHICH ARE THE VILLAGES OF DAN CHU, NAM TUAN, DUC LONG, BE TRIEU, HUNG DAO, VINH QUANG, BINH DUONG, BACH DANG, TRUONG LUONG, CONG TRUNG, NGU LAU, NGUYEN HUE, DAI TIEN, CHU TRINH, HA TRI, HONG NAM, HOANG TUNG, QUANG TRUNG, LE CHUNG, DUC XUAN, HONG VIET, BINH LONG, TRUNG VUONG AND THE MARKET TOWN OF NUOC HAI.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after the date of signature. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF CAO BANG PROVINCE, THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE HEADS OF RELATED ORGANIZATIONS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE./.
