Issuing the Regulation on Spokespersonship and Provision of Information to the Press

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Press Law dated December 28, 1989; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Press Law dated June 12, 1999;
On the basis of Decree No. 51/2002/NĐ-CP dated April 26, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Press Law; the Law amending and supplementing certain articles of the Press Law.
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Culture-Information,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Rules on Spokespersonship and Provision of Information to the Press are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Ministry of Culture-Information shall be responsible for leading, coordinating with relevant agencies to guide, monitor, and inspect the implementation of these Rules.
Article 4. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government agencies, and Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees and Municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision.
