DECREE

Regarding the establishment of the Overseas Vietnamese Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

To implement the reorganization of state administrative organizations,

DECREE:

Article 1. The Overseas Vietnamese Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is hereby established.

Article 2. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Committee shall cooperate with the Minister - Director of the Civil Service - Human Resources Agency of the Government to draft the operational regulations of the Overseas Vietnamese Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for submission to the Prime Minister for decision.

Article 3. This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous provisions that conflict with this Decree are abolished.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Committee, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
