DECREE-LAW
OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
NUMBER 77 DATED AUGUST 26, 1947
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 34 dated March 23, 1946 organizing the Ministry of National Defense;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 71 dated May 22, 1946 establishing army regulations;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 76-SL dated August 26, 1947 organizing the Independent Division;
At the proposal of the General Commander of the National Army and the Minister of National Defense in agreement,
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-ORDER:
Article 1
Mr. Hoàng Văn Thái, Chief of Staff of the National Army of Vietnam, is now concurrently appointed as Commander of the Independent Division.
Article 2
Mr. Nguyễn Lâm Kính, former Chief of Staff of Zone 2, is now appointed as Deputy Commander of the Independent Division.
Article 3
Mr. Lê Vinh Quốc, former Political Commissar of Regiment 147, is now appointed as Political Commissar of the Independent Division.
Article 4
These appointments shall take effect from the date of issuance of this Decree-Law.
Article 5
The General Commander of the National Army and the Minister of National Defense shall implement this Decree-Law.
