DECISION OF THE GOVERNMENT PRIME MINISTER

On the establishment of Vinh University of Pedagogy and Technology

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Government Prime Minister approving the Master Plan for the network of universities and colleges for the period 2001-2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Circular No. 2009/TTr-BGD&ĐT dated March 16, 2006 on the establishment of Vinh University of Pedagogy and Technology,

DECISION:

Article 1. Vinh University of Pedagogy and Technology shall be established based on Vinh College of Pedagogy and Technology.

Article 2. Vinh University of Pedagogy and Technology is a higher education institution under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; the university has legal personality, its own seal and separate account; the headquarters of the university is located in Vinh City, Nghe An Province.

Article 3. Vinh University of Pedagogy and Technology operates according to the Charter of Universities issued together with Decision No. 153/2003/QĐ-TTg dated July 30, 2003 of the Government Prime Minister.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the central government, and Rector of Vinh University of Pedagogy and Technology are responsible for implementing this Decision.
