DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARITIME ADMINISTRATION
Pursuant to Decision No. 26/2009/QD-TTg dated February 20, 2009 of the Prime Minister on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Maritime Administration;
Pursuant to Decision No. 31/2008/QD-BGTVT dated December 26, 2008 of the Minister of Transport on the professional standards, professional certificates of seafarers, and minimum safety manning levels for Vietnamese ships;
Pursuant to Circular No. 828/DHHH dated September 26, 2011 of the Rector of the Maritime University regarding the report on the results of the third batch of 2011 examinations for maritime officers at the operational level held at the Maritime University;
Considering the proposal of the Head of the Organization and Cadre Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Recognizing successful candidates and issuing Certificates of Professional Competence for maritime officers at the operational level to: 30 deck officers of merchant ships with a total gross tonnage of 500 GT or more; 23 engine officers of merchant ships with main engine power of 750 kW or more (list attached).
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of relevant agencies and units under the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Rector of the Maritime University, and the candidates named in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
